   I got this adapter so that I could use my old Motorola (RAZR) car charger with my LG Versa. When you plug it in the phone displays a message saying that it is not the reccommended (ie not an LG) charger but then it proceeds to charge and it charges just fine. I have been using it for several months and it works perfectly for charging but I have not tried it for data transfer.

   This adapter works very well. I used it to convert a long heavy-gauge USB cable to MicroUSB for my phone because the stock cable was too short. The adapter fits snugly onto a standard MiniUSB end. The included lanyard fits around a standard MiniUSB end and keeps the adapter on hand when it isn’t in use.
